FEATURES
Color: deep ruby red, with shades tending to garnet. Clear and shiny.
Bouquet: vinous, characteristic of Barbera, clean, with a scent of wood.
Taste: dry, characteristic of this vine, rich in alcohol and materialsextractive; suitable for aging in small wooden barrels capacity. The older it gets, the more full-bodied it becomes.
LOCATION OF THE VINEYARDS
Ciabot Contessa vineyard, Municipality of Cherasco, S. Michele and Moretto area. South South West exposure.
VARIETY: 100% Barbera.
VINIFICATION: Manual harvest, in small crates, soft pressing, pumping over frequent, controlled temperature, following the schemes of the traditional vinification and aging in barriques.
ALCOOL: 12,5’.
Barbera Superiore alcohol 13/12.50.
AGING: in small oak barrels and «barriques» from one to three years. Winery in Cherasco.
PRODUCTION: 100 quintals.
PACKAGING: "Albeisa" 0.75 bottle. Cardboard boxes 6 12 bottles. Wooden crates on request.
